We are extremely proud to be a part of such a vibrant community, and make special efforts to give back whenever we can. Our family and employees live and work here, and have a vested interest in improving the local quality of life. To that end, we feel privileged to lend our support and sponsorship to many charitable events and organizations that make a real difference in Bergen County and the surrounding areas.
From events that benefit the health and vitality of the communities we serve to those that promote civic engagement, F. Silverman Jewelers continues to help raise funds and awareness for important causes.

Josephine’s Garden: Annual Josephine Garden Luncheon
Held on May, 17th 2022 at Seasons Catering, in Washington Township, Josephine’s Garden will be hosting their annual event to raise funds to support and further their mission. This organization was founded, by Heidi Rispoli, in honor of her daughter Josephine. Josephine’s Garden supports pediatric cancer research and family support for those who are fighting childhood cancer. They also provide a garden for patients at M Sanzari Children’s Hospital that provides an easily accessible, outdoor place for all patients to get outside and enjoy the sunshine or breathe some fresh air. Their wonderful garden features a wishing fountain, a climbing boulder, artwork, and much more. F Silverman has been a proud ongoing supporter of Josephine’s Garden.
Northern Highlands Sports Association Fall Beefsteak Fundraising Dinner
Held on October 14, 2017 in Ho-Ho-Kus, this charity dinner honored Bill Strasser and his efforts to help “Light The Dream fundraising campaign.” The NHSA is dedicated to a worthy cause: to encourage physical fitness, good sportsmanship, leadership, team effort and spirit, and excellence of physical and mental achievement among students at Northern Highlands Regional High School. The money raised at this dinner and raffle will help the school maintain its roster of amazing athletic programs.
The Designer Showhouse of New Jersey
The 2017 Designer Showhouse benefits the Department of Patient Care at Hackensack University Medical Center, Meridian Health’s flagship hospital. F. Silverman has been an ongoing supporter of Hackensack University Medical Center, which focuses on providing high quality, human-centered care. This highly anticipated event, now in its 9th consecutive year, showcases the latest trends in interior design, presented by talented landscape architects, designers and decorative artists hailing from NYC and New Jersey. The Designer Showhouse of New Jersey is held at 46 Westerly Road in Saddle River, and is open to the public until November 12, 2017. Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, except Mondays. Admission is just $35.
Woodcliff Lake Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary – Military Bridge Event
Every year, the Woodcliff Lake Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary hold their annual fundraising event – a fun evening of Military Bridge, with a chance to win donated items at auction. A lovely piece of jewelry from F. Silverman were among the dozens of items at this year’s Military Bridge. All proceeds from the event, held October 4, are used to support the ongoing needs of the Woodcliff Lake Fire Department.
USR Cares – Support for Neighbors in Need
USR Cares is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to expanding the safety net for residents of Upper Saddle River who are experiencing a crisis. As a community resource organization, they develop relationships and support seniors in the areas with projects like, Project Sunshine. They also help organize COVID vaccination appointments for seniors. They host an Annual Oktoberfest fundraiser for the community. We proudly support USR Cares and their mission to support seniors and residents of Upper Saddle River.
Saddle River Lions Club
Saddle River Lions Club mission is to serve others in the community in New Jersey. They assist and support the blind, visually impaired, the hungry, those with health related disabilities, student service clubs, scholarships, and academic awards for students. They fundraise through their annual carnival, car raffle, and golf classic. We are proud supporters of the Saddle River Lions Club serving Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Mahwah, Ramsey, and Allendale.
Saddle River Junior Woman’s Club
The Saddle River Junior Woman’s Club is a non-profit, civic organization that strives to improve the quality of the community through a womens group. They promote volunteering, community outreach programs, and create a social network for members. They support the community of Upper Saddle River and Saddle River. They partner with other local charities in the community to fundraise and and host events. We proudly support the efforts and mission of Saddle River Junior Woman’s Club.
Woodcliff Lake PFA
The Woodcliff Parent Faculty Association supports Woodcliff Lake Schools. Parents and faculty volunteer and host events throughout the year to support and enrich the education of students in Woodcliff Lake. We are proud supporters of the Woodcliff Lake PFA.
PHHS PFA
The PHHS Parent Faculty Association supports Pascack Hills High School. Parents and faculty volunteer and host events throughout the year to support and enrich the education of high school students in Montvale. They have many programs throughout the year to further their students involvement in the community, support staff, and celebrate student accomplishments. They support students from freshman year to graduation. In addition, they provide scholarships and academic awards to students, as well as, gift important materials and equipment to schools. We are proud supporters of the PHHS PFA.
