$10k Mega Raffle
$10k Mega RaffleF. Silverman Jewelers is a proud supporter of Valley Chabad. We’re excited to have the opportunity to donate one of the prizes for the Center’s upcoming raffle. Raffle entrants have the chance to win an exquisite 14k white gold “Shema Israel” necklace from our fine jewelry store in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.
The Valley Chabad Teen Leadership Initiative $10k Mega Raffle also offers the chance to win $10,000 cash (grand prize), a Joe DiMaggio limited edition signed lithograph (second prize), or two VIP Yankee tickets (third prize). The drawing for the raffle will be held on January 8 2017 at a CTeen event in the evening. The proceeds for the raffle support the educational, social, and humanitarian services for youths and teens in the Pascack and Saddle River Valley communities. These services are often provided free of charge.
Introduction to Valley Chabad
Valley Chabad has long been recognized as a welcoming community that values the contribution of each individual. The Center runs dynamic programs and provides numerous opportunities for families to celebrate Judaism, connect with others, and embrace continual learning. The Valley Chabad Teen Leadership Initiative encompasses several programs that guide teens in learning about their heritage, enriching their community, and growing in strength and character.
Located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Valley Chabad is a place where people of all backgrounds can come together to enjoy open-minded exploration. Those who choose to purchase raffle tickets will be supporting a range of important services for youth in the area. Through the Valley Chabad Teen Leadership Initiative, Jewish teens can access the following programs and services:
- Friendship Circle: Nurtures friendships in an inclusive setting that welcomes teens with special needs and their families.
- Linking Hearts: Brings joy and happiness to homebound senior citizens through interpersonal relationships with volunteer teens.
- CTeen: Guides teens in learning about themselves by identifying core values and developing their character in a fun setting.
- Eternal Flame: Examines the Holocaust. This new program connects teens to educational workshops, during which they explore the experiences and strength of the survivors. By raising awareness of this horrific genocide, teens can work to prevent future genocides around the world.
- JLI Teens: Guides teens in incorporating Jewish thought into daily life. This series of classes includes textual studies, current events, ethics, and philosophy.
